It's not perfect of course but gets ya in the ballpark.
So it's all based on the entire games history of progression of goods needed and the increase percentages. But again, IG of course could just decide to change things up, nerf it some or whatever, that I can't predict. Now the amount needed is based off past increases so it as well is not wholly without grounding, I didn't just make wild guesses. In regards to FE goods needed for tech you have: Now that doesn't mean they can't change it and of course we can't know until the next two ages but it's not without foundation and would be prudent to plan for. So it stands to reason Special Goods will follow that same structure. It has always been that the current age good produced is needed for the next 3 ages in the tech tree. It's based on the entire structure of goods needed for tech since the beginning of the game.
